Sunnyvale, Calif., January 23, 2006 – VueMetrix, manufacturer of OEM and benchtop laser diode control systems, has increased the performance of it’s successful product, the Vue-HCT combination high current laser diode and TEC controller. The laser diode current and voltage was increased to 50A and 3.0V to accommodate new higher power fiber-coupled laser diode bars from various vendors. The Vue-HCT also includes a high power 11V, 15A TEC controller all in a compact air-cooled package. The Vue-HCT has all of the attributes required in an OEM package plus a full-featured user interface that provides the performance of a bench top controller. Available with an optional heatsink including peltier elements, the Vue-HCT can be used as a stand-alone controller or is ideally suited for integration into DPSS laser systems or direct diode systems such as hair removal, heat treating and soldering. VueMetrix manufactures OEM and bench top laser diode control systems and subsystems. Subsystems include: DPSS controllers featuring laser diode and dual TEC drivers with microprocessor control of start-up and tuning algorithms; multi-channel laser diode controllers for burn-in or fiber laser pumping; high current laser diode and TEC controllers; high compliance voltage controllers for laser diode bars and stacks.
