VueMetrix Announces New Laser Diode Controller for Multiple High
Power Discrete Diodes
Sunnyvale, Calif., January 23, 2006 – VueMetrix has introduced the
Vue-MV laser diode controller. This controller is ideal for applications
using high power discrete diodes, now available from various manufacturers.
The new controller provides up to 10A of current at 12V, making it
capable of driving 6 diodes in series. The Vue-MV has all the attributes
required for an OEM controller: compact, cost effective, configurable,
and air-cooled, plus it has the option to be used as a stand-alone
system or as a bench top controller. Applications using multiple
high power discrete diodes, like fiber lasers, materials processing
and Medial systems, can embed one or more of the Vue-MV controllers
into their systems to control as many diodes as necessary. The Vue-MV
can also function as the main system controller in stand-alone applications.
For bench-top applications the user can operate the controller with
a PC and VueMetrix WinVue software to have all the functions of a
laboratory instrument.
VueMetrix manufactures OEM and bench top laser diode control systems
and subsystems. Subsystems include: DPSS controllers featuring laser
diode and dual TEC drivers with microprocessor control of start-up
and tuning algorithms; multi-channel laser diode controllers for
burn-in or fiber laser pumping.
